Regents Park Open Air Theatre Trip – August 2023
This year marked a return to the Open Air Theatre in Regents Park for a matinee performance of “La Cage Aux Folles”, fingers crossed that it would be a fine afternoon.
LMA members were thrilled by the warm welcome and the chance to enjoy seeing this colourful and lively show in Regents Park’s well-regarded Open-Air Theatre. A private area had been arranged where members could mingle and enjoy a coffee, tea and soft drinks prior to the performance.
The pre-show meet-up and the interval were good opportunities to meet with old friends and chat to new LMA members. There was a buzz in the atmosphere – members were all there to enjoy themselves and the show. Fortunately, we had a sunny day but the weather wouldn’t have mattered because the show goes on regardless! The productions at Regents Park have a reputation for excellence and members were not disappointed. There was a well-earned standing ovation at the end of the show.
