Walkers from nearly every London borough plus Sheriffs and the Lord Mayor of London, the Rt Hon Nicholas Lyons. (the 694th Lord Mayor of London) made the 5 mile journey on foot through London. 

They followed the route first taken by the eponymous Dick Whittington. Walkers started at the Whittington Hospital, Highgate Hill to the City of London.
