LMA members made an educational and enjoyable trip to Charterhouse to view the beautiful building and absorb its rich history.  Members were treated to a to a fascinating tour of the 14^th century Charterhouse which was originally built as a Carthusian priory, founded on the site of a Black Death burial ground. A wonderful buffet was followed by a tour of the house which included viewings of an original monk’s cell and the incredible art collection.
